Mr. van Daalen received a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business.  Mr. van Daalen has overall responsibility for fixed income portfolio management. Mr. van Daalen manages the Mortgage-Backed Securities Fixed Income Strategy which received “Manager of the Decade 2022” award and Core Aggregate Fixed Income Strategy which received “Manager of the Decade 2018” award from PSN/Informa1. Before joining Wright, he was a Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management following their purchase of Warburg Pincus Asset Management, which he joined in 1992.  In addition to managing institutional assets, Mr. van Daalen was manager of several mutual funds, including the Warburg Pincus Fixed Income Fund.  Prior to 1992, he was Assistant Vice President and managed fixed income investments for high net worth individuals in Citibank’s International Private Bank.  He is a member of the Stamford Society of Security Analysts. Mr. van Daalen was educated at l’Ecole Internationale de Genève and is trilingual in English, French and Dutch. Mr. van Daalen holds the Series 65, 7 and 63 securities licenses. Mr. van Daalen joined Wright in 2002. Investment experience: 41 years.

Moreover, the strategy’s returns were greater than the style benchmark for the latest 10-year period and also standard deviation less than the style benchmark for the latest ten-year period. At this point, the top ten performers for the latest 10-year period become the PSN Top Guns Manager of the Decade.

Bull & Bear Masters: These products had an r-squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for a three-year period. Moreover, the strategy had an upside market capture over 100 and a downside market capture less than 100 relative to the style benchmark. The top ten ratios of Upside Capture Ratio over Downside Capture Ratio become the PSN Bull & Bear Masters.
